Job Overview

Permanent Superintendent to oversee all aspects of K12/Education construction projects throughout Northern California. Responsible for delivering projects on time, within budget, and ensuring high quality and safety standards.

Compensation

$150,000 - $180,000 per year

Responsibilities
  • Oversee all stages of project life cycles, from initial planning to completion.
  • Manage the daily operations on the construction site.
  • Supervise all construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring they adhere to quality standards, deadlines, and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure the project's success.
  • Implement strategies to prevent delays and to stay within budget.
  • Make critical decisions that could impact the project's timeline, budget, or quality.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections to ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards.
  • Resolve any issues, problems, or delays that occur on the construction site.
  • Provide regular updates and progress reports to stakeholders.
  • Ensure the project complies with all building and safety codes.
  • Qualifications
    • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry (preferably K12/Education experience), with a focus on managing mid to large‑scale projects.
    • Proven experience in decision‑making roles, with the ability to make sound judgments under pressure.
    • Strong knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and OSHA safety regulations.
    • Excellent leadership and team‑management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
    • Exceptional problem‑solving skills, with a knack for resolving issues quickly and effectively.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
    • Excellent organizational and time‑management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • A strong commitment to safety management, with a proven track record of maintaining safe work environments.
