On Call Educational Assistant Richmond

Position Overview

Richmond Christian School is seeking Educational Assistants to join our on-call EA pool. The ideal candidate demonstrates a solid commitment towards Christian education and an ability to anticipate the needs of a diverse group of learners. The ideal candidate also demonstrates foundational knowledge in working within the Positive Behaviour Support framework.

• Support students under the direction of classroom teachers, both class-wide and in small groups or one-to-one.
• Collaborate and communicate with classroom teachers and remain flexible to meet student needs.
• Be available to be assigned work from Elementary, Middle, and Secondary campuses as per experience and interest.

• Current certification from an accredited Educational Assistant Program or related certification such as Behaviour Interventionist or ECE, or related educational background.
• Evidence of coursework or experience with exceptional and unique learners.

• Transparent evidence of sincere Christian faith.
• Alignment with the community standards of Richmond Christian School and a commitment to uphold these standards.
• Committed to the Mission, Vision, and purposes of Richmond Christian School.
• Availability and willingness to pick up shifts once employed as an on-call EA.

Contract Type:
Casual, on-call.
