This full-time Teacher role is an on-site position based in Richmond, CA. The Teacher will plan and deliver engaging, standards-based lessons that support project-based and personalized learning, aligned with Summit’s educational model. Daily responsibilities include instructing students, assessing progress, providing timely feedback, and adapting instruction to meet diverse learning needs. The Teacher will build inclusive classroom communities, maintain clear communication with students, families, and colleagues, and participate in grade-level and subject-area collaboration.
Additional responsibilities include supporting students through mentoring, contributing to school-wide initiatives, and engaging in ongoing professional development.
- Strong foundation in Education and Teaching, with the ability to support diverse learners
- Proficiency in Lesson Planning and curriculum alignment to academic standards
- Effective Communication skills for working with students, families, and colleagues
- Experience in Training, coaching, or mentoring students in academic and social-emotional growth
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; teaching credential or certification preferred
- Experience in project-based or personalized learning environments is beneficial
- Commitment to equity, inclusion, and culturally responsive teaching practices
- Ability to use educational technology and data to inform instruction and support student outcomes
