Position Summary:
Consistent with the mission, goals, and policies of the YMCA of the East Bay, this position supports the delivery of high-quality early care and education services that meet the needs of children and families in an inclusive environment that supports children of all abilities.
The position provides data, guidance, support, and technical assistance to Teachers and program staff to promote compliance with applicable Head Start Program Performance Standards, California Department of Education and California Department of Social Services requirements, Child and Adult Care Food Program requirements, and Community Care Licensing regulations.

Qualifications:
- AA Degree or above in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, or related field with appropriate ECE coursework.
- Experience working with children and families of diverse cultural backgrounds
- Pre-employment physical examination and TB clearance
- Live Scan fingerprint and criminal record clearance
- Must be able to communicate in English with proficiency, bilingual or multi-lingual preferred
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and other computer programs

Work environment & Physical Demands:
- Sufficient strength, agility and mobility to perform essential functions and to supervise program activities in a wide variety of indoor and outdoor locations
- Must be able to work on a computer for an extended period of time
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust
- Must be able to travel locally for meetings, training and special events
