ZE Power Engineering is seeking a skilled Transmission Engineer to deliver engineering services in the electric utility field.
This role entails the detailed design of transmission lines and distribution projects, with voltage from 14.4kV to 500kV. You’ll be responsible for generating engineering calculations, PLS‑CADD models, and providing mentorship. Regular site visits and collaboration with the project manager are part of your responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities- Execute detailed designs for overhead and underground transmission lines
- Create design packages and engineering calculations
- Utilize LIDAR data for PLS‑CADD model development
- Design and analyze wood, FRP, and steel poles
- Support junior team members in project delivery
- Post‑secondary education in electrical engineering or technology
- 2+ years of engineering design experience preferred
- Registration with EGBC required
- Class 5 driver’s license necessary
- Experience in BCH distribution systems is a benefit
