Service Now AI Consultant (Portal + AI Agent Focus)

We are seeking a Service Now AI Consultant with hands‑on experience in building AI‑driven conversational and self‑service solutions within Service Portal / Now Experience. The ideal candidate must have implemented Virtual Agent / AI Agent integrated with Service Portal, not just configured it.

• Hands‑on experience with Service Now Virtual Agent integrated into Service Portal / Now Experience
• Experience designing AI‑driven conversational workflows for end‑users
• Strong knowledge of:
  • NLU (Natural Language Understanding)
  • Topic modeling & training utterances
  • Conversation design
• Experience embedding/chatbot integration in:
  • Service Portal widgets
  • UI Builder / Now Experience
• Practical experience with:
  • Predictive Intelligence
  • AI Search / contextual search
• Robust scripting:
  • JavaScript (Client + Server)
  • Glide APIs

• Design and implement AI‑powered Service Portal experiences
• Build and optimize Virtual Agent / AI Agent conversations
• Integrate AI Agent with:
  • Catalog items
  • Knowledge base
  • Incident/Request flows
• Customize Service Portal widgets for chatbot embedding
• Implement:
  • NLU models
  • AI Search
  • Predictive Intelligence use cases
• Work with stakeholders to define AI‑driven self‑service strategy
• Optimize user experience using analytics & conversation insights

• Experience with Now Assist (GenAI in Service Now)
• Experience with:
  • Integration Hub
  • REST APIs for external AI integrations
• Exposure to:
  • OpenAI / Azure OpenAI integrations with Service Now
• Experience building custom AI use cases (beyond OOTB Virtual Agent)
