Job Description

The production supervisor’s primary responsibility will be to oversee the line to ensure all products are packed safely and efficiently and maintain a sanitary environment which meets all food safety regulations. A Supervisor trains sets responsibilities and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complies and enforces the highest standards of company and plant safety programs, guidelines, rules, and regulations
  • Evaluates each station of the production process to maintain optimum efficiency.
  • Ensures line is ready to start by completing daily checklist (Pre-Operation Checklist)
  • Oversees issues that may occur on the line and resolves them.
  • Monitors production process to ensure operators are following quality and food safety standards
  • Inspects product for quality and accuracy before shipping
  • Collects product samples to be evaluated
  • Requests production materials in a timely manner and ensures they are delivered as requested and used properly and efficiently.
  • Enters traceability in the computer system.
  • Ensures that employees are following required break and lunch times.
  • Communicates effectively with Managers and Employees
Essential Skills and Requirements
  • Must be able to read and write in English and speak Spanish
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English
  • Ability to manage employees
  • High level of maturity
  • Strong communication skills and desire to work with other team members.
  • Occasional seasonal overtime including possible 6-day work weeks
  • Must be able to stay overtime if needed

  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Regular exposure to a manufacturing environment, including variable or extreme temperatures (freezers, proofers, ovens), moving mechanical equipment, and food ingredients/allergens.
  • Required use of PPE such as hairnets, beard nets (if applicable), safety shoes, face masks, and other safety equipment, as defined by company policy.
  • This position requires compliance with all company food safety, quality, GMP, and workplace safety policies.
