Position SummaryReporting to the Production Supervisor(s), the Bag Packer will ensure all products are packed and ready for shipping at the highest company quality standards and maintain a safe and clean work workplace.
Responsibilities- Prepare boxes needed for the shift and the following shift.
- Prepare finished goods for palletizing and shipping.
- Inspect products in real‑time to ensure bags meet specifications.
- Assist with minor machine adjustments under guidance of Operator/Helper.
- Observe line operations during break periods and assist Operator/Helper as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure efficient production workflow.
- Coordinate with operators/helpers for staging of materials and ensuring availability of supplies.
- Maintain inventory levels of tools and supplies and keep machines running efficiently.
- Facilitate quality checks every 30 minutes to ensure bags pass all quality levels.
- Maintain machine speeds to produce high‑quality product with minimal waste.
- Work respectfully with all team members.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Self‑motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work eight‑hour rotating shifts Monday through Friday (days, nights, and afternoons).
- Physical capability to climb, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs.
