Position: QA Coordinator (Bread)

We are hiring a QA Coordinator to oversee quality assurance programs, ensure compliance with food safety regulations, and support continuous improvement initiatives at our facility in Richmond, CA.

Main Responsibilities
  • Monitor and enforce food safety and quality assurance programs.
  • Conduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance with company, customer, and regulatory standards.
  • Investigate and document quality issues, working with production to implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate records for inspections, testing, and quality control programs.
  • Support HACCP, GMP, and sanitation programs to ensure food safety compliance.
  • Train employees in quality procedures, food safety regulations, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to ensure product quality standards are met.
  • Assist in customer and regulatory audits, preparing necessary documentation.
  • Work closely with suppliers to ensure raw material quality meets specifications.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in quality and food safety processes.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Prior experience in quality assurance, food safety, or a related field in a manufacturing or food production environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations, including HACCP, GMPs, FSMA, and other industry standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve quality issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage documentation and maintain accurate quality records.
  • Experience with internal and external audits.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and a proactive approach to quality improvement.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
