Location:
Richmond, CA 94804
Shift is 1st Monday through Friday Hours are 6am 2:30pm ( While worker is training it will be Monday through Friday Hours are 6am 2:30pm) / Candidate must be flexible for overtime and the occasional Saturday pending on work load.

Candidates will interview with manager over Teams.
Key Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To- Responsible for sampling, testing, plating, reading, and recording product test results. Trouble shoot out of spec results.
- Ensure that daily records are kept and maintained.
- Data Entry, tracking and interpretation.
- Following QC Hold Procedures for out-of-specified products.
- Must possess the ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOP's).
- Will assist in the discipline to maintain a 5-S rating of an A .
- Be flexible in working hours.
- Equipment calibration and troubleshooting.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Participate in continuous improvement.
- Must meet with the supervisor daily covering any issues associated with production.
- Monitor all CCP records and frequen have limited work authorization. cies.
- Follow-up customer complaints and correspond with production.
- Manage product specifications.
- Coordinate HACCP team.
- Maintain policy and implement policies and procedures including training relating to GMP's, Food Safety and regulatory compliance.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to adapt effectively within a continually changing and demanding environment.
- Must be able to demonstrate an ability and willingness to communicate effectively in order to maintain high levels of safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Demonstrate ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and duties as they relate to food safety and regulatory compliance.
- Minimum bachelor's degree (Food Science, Biology, Microbiology or related science) and minimum 2 years experience or an addition 4+ years (min 6 years) if no degree.
- HACCP certified required, SQF Practitioner preferred.
- Knowledge of Microbiological, Physical, Chemical and Organoleptic Testing.
- Ensure policies, procedures, and workplace safety are adhered to.
- Evaluate trends from test results and develop plans to correct deficiencies and communicate these plans to employees, and management.
- Implement quality control processes/testing to meet the expectations of quality standards and ensure that the product(s) are within specification.
- Excellent organizational skills with a high degree of initiative and flexibility.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Utilize and maintain inventory on laboratory and sanitation supplies.
- Good oral/written communication skills.
- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision.
- Proficient in window-based PC programs.
- Lab Test Equipment/Maintenance.
- Must follow current Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Sanitation Practices, Food Safety and Occupational Safety.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
