Our client, a leading organization in the food production industry, is seeking a Manufacturing QA Technician to join their team. As a Manufacturing QA Technician, you will be part of the Quality Control Department supporting the production and safety of food products. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and adaptability, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Manufacturing QA Technician

Pay Range: $28.00 to $30.00 per hour

Shift: 1st Shift, Monday through Friday, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm

What's the Job?

  • Sampling, testing, plating, reading, and recording product test results accurately.
  • Troubleshooting out-of-specification results to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintaining detailed daily records and ensuring data integrity for quality assurance processes.
  • Following QC hold procedures for products that do not meet specifications.
  • Participating in continuous improvement initiatives and supporting HACCP team activities.

What's Needed?

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Food Science, Biology, Microbiology, or a related science field, or at least 6 years of relevant experience if no degree.
  • HACCP and PCQI certifications are required.
  • Knowledge of microbiological, physical, chemical, and organoleptic testing methods.
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and GMPs diligently.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
