Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented, safety-minded Champion (Line Quality Control) to support daily Line 23 production and packaging operations. This is a hands-on, production-floor quality-control role: you will conduct assigned line checks and inspections, verify product and process requirements, monitor compliance with quality, food-safety, sanitation, traceability, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), allergen-control, and workplace-safety standards, and complete accurate documentation and electronic records.

You will work closely with Production, Quality Assurance, Sanitation, Maintenance, Warehouse, and other cross-functional teams to identify and communicate concerns, support timely corrective action and product control, and help ensure safe, compliant, and consistent products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The duties below are considered essential functions of this position. This list is not exhaustive and may be revised to reflect legitimate business needs, consistent with applicable law.

Work regularly on the production floor to monitor production and packaging activities and help ensure products are manufactured, handled, packaged, and documented in accordance with established quality, food-safety, sanitation, GMP, allergen-control, and workplace-safety requirements.

Conduct assigned quality-control checks at the required frequency, including inspection of product appearance, temperature, weight, dimensions, packaging integrity, labels, lot codes, date codes, quantities, and other assigned quality attributes.

Verify that production employees follow approved work instructions, specifications, standard operating procedures, GMPs, sanitation requirements, allergen controls, PPE requirements, and plant safety rules; promptly communicate observed deviations to the appropriate supervisor and/or Quality Assurance representative.

Monitor and document product temperatures, product weights, process conditions, line checks, inspection results, and other assigned quality measurements using required paper logs and/or electronic systems.

Review assigned production and process documentation for completeness, legibility, accuracy, required times, and conformance with established quality and food-safety requirements; communicate missing, incomplete, or inaccurate documentation for correction and escalation as required.
