Senior Oncology Specialist
Responsible for providing clinical knowledge of Amgen’s oncology products to medical professionals, driving sales within assigned territory, and maintaining strong relationships with healthcare providers.

Responsibilities- Act as primary customer contact to deliver comprehensive clinical and economic benefits of products.
- Create and execute a comprehensive territory plan, deliver branded sales messages, and schedule medical educational programs.
- Achieve or exceed sales targets and collaborate with the District Manager to develop territory plans.
- Utilize internal and external relationships to service accounts, ensure product access, resolve reimbursement issues, and maintain contracts.
- Analyze sales activity effectiveness, conduct territory analysis, and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Craft and execute marketing strategies to drive product sales.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, stay curious, and continuously learn.
- Leverage knowledge of oncology and disease states to deliver results.
- Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of sales and/or clinical experience in healthcare or science, or
- Associate degree and 6 years of sales and/or clinical experience, or
- High school diploma/GED and 8 years of sales and/or clinical experience.
- Experience in oncology.
- 3+ years of sales and/or marketing experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or medical device industry.
- Background in oncology, nephrology, dermatology, rheumatology, inflammation, or related specialty.
- Local market knowledge.
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or Business Administration.
- Adaptability with core competencies: planning, leveraging technical knowledge, communicating, driving results, cultivating relationships.
- Competitive base salary $140,465–$190,041 annually, based on experience.
