River Rock Casino Resort is recruiting for a qualified individual to fill the role of Surveillance Supervisor at our Richmond location. This position is responsible for the monitoring of all areas of the casino property and maintaining documentation.
You will be working together with a team and will be required to write and generate reports.
Duties And Responsibilities For Our Surveillance Supervisor Will Include- Monitoring Surveillance Operators; verifying timesheets; providing input for performance evaluations
- Monitoring, documenting and reporting violations regarding large cash/cash equivalent transactions, excluded and self-excluded guests and unauthorized access
- Maintaining logs; preparing daily reports; storing records securely for evidence purposes
- Monitoring, documenting and reporting on the condition of surveillance facilities and equipment; performing preventative maintenance on equipment as required
- Training new Team Members
- Communicating effectively with all appropriate operational departments
- Building strong working relationships with guests and employees
- Complying with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
- Performing other duties as required
- High School Diploma
- Post-secondary education in criminology or a suitable combination of education and experience an asset
- Ability to exceed internal and external guest expectations through timely, effective and service oriented communication
- Minimum 2 years of surveillance or security experience; minimum 1 year of supervisory experience; gaming experience preferred
- Thorough knowledge of BCLC and Company policies and procedures
- Thorough knowledge of BCLC Anti-Money Laundering (AML)
- Proficient computer skills
- Proficiency with iTrak
- Background experience in Criminology an asset
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Goal Oriented
- The ability to successfully pass a criminal record and credit check through Independent Gambling Control Office (IGCO)
Candidates must be ready and willing to work a flexible schedule including mornings, afternoons, evenings, overnights, weekends and statutory holidays. The scheduled hours of work will be based on business needs.
