The Team You’ll Work With …
As the Tile Installation Training & Development Manager, you will work directly with our Installation leadership team to build and lead Fox Marble’s next-generation apprenticeship and installer development program. This role is responsible for helping define and teach “The Fox Way” — our standard for world-class tile installation, jobsite professionalism, craftsmanship, safety, and customer experience. You will train entry-level apprentices, develop junior installers, and support experienced crews through hands-on instruction, curriculum development, field coaching, and continuous improvement initiatives.
This role combines classroom education, field mentorship, installation expertise, and operational systems-building.
You’ll partner closely with installation leadership, field teams, and vendor partners to ensure our installation practices remain best-in-class across materials, techniques, safety standards, and execution quality. This role reports to the Director of Installation and is located in Richmond, CA. The pay range for this role is $75,000 - $95,000 per year.

Help design and lead a scalable training pipeline that develops the next generation of elite tile installers.
- Build structured onboarding and apprenticeship curriculum
- Create skill matrices, certifications, and installation standards
- Develop hands-on and classroom-based training programs
- Support long-term career pathing and installer development
- Create systems that improve retention, consistency, and craftsmanship quality
Define & Implement “The Fox Way”
Help establish the operational and craftsmanship standards that define how Fox Marble crews install tile.
- Standardize installation techniques, processes, and jobsite expectations
- Partner with field leaders to improve quality, efficiency, and professionalism
- Create SOPs and training documentation across installation workflows
- Reinforce cleanliness, organization, safety, and customer communication standards
- Ensure every installer represents the Fox Marble brand with professionalism and pride
Drive Craftsmanship, Innovation & Technical Excellence
Partner with vendors and installation leadership to continuously improve materials, methods, and installation performance.
- Collaborate with manufacturers and product partners on installation best practices
- Evaluate new products, tools, systems, and installation methodologies
- Support R&D and field testing initiatives
- Ensure teams are trained on evolving installation standards and materials
