** Position Summary
** The HVAC Lead Installer is responsible for leading installation crews and ensuring the successful installation of residential and commercial HVAC systems. This role combines technical expertise, leadership, customer service, and quality control to deliver outstanding results on every project.
As a key member of our growing team, you'll help develop the next generation of installers while playing a critical role in our continued success.
** What You'll Do
**** Lead Installations
*** Oversee the installation of furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, ventilation systems, and related equipment.
* Read and interpret blueprints, project specifications, and technical drawings.
* Perform system startups, testing, commissioning, and quality checks.
* Troubleshoot installation challenges and ensure systems operate at peak performance.
* Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail.
** Develop and Lead Your Team
*** Direct and support installation crews on a daily basis.
* Train and mentor apprentices and junior installers.
* Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment.
* Ensure projects stay on schedule while maintaining quality standards.
** Deliver Exceptional Customer Experiences
*** Communicate professionally with homeowners, builders, and project managers.
* Educate customers on system operation and maintenance.
* Represent the company with integrity and professionalism at every job site.
** Maintain Safety and Compliance
*** Follow all OSHA, EPA, and company safety standards.
* Ensure installations meet all applicable building and mechanical codes.
* Maintain organized, clean, and safe job sites.
* Complete all required documentation accurately and efficiently.
** What We're Looking For
**** Required Qualifications
*** 3–5+ years of HVAC installation experience.
* EPA Section 608 Certification (Type II or Universal).
* Strong understanding of HVAC systems, ductwork, and installation best practices.
* Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
* Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and varying weather conditions.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
** Preferred Qualifications
*** NATE Certification.
* HVAC trade school education.
* Previous experience leading installation crews.
* Residential and commercial installation experience.
