Tasks:
Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements. Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials. Utilize hand and power tools. Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades. Ensure health and safety regulations are followed. Direct placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade.
Civil engineering experience:
Tunnels and subways.
