Weekend Medical Driver – Richmond, CA

$20.00 - $20.75/hr - Part Time

Available Shift:

Saturday and Sunday 11:00 am to 7:00 pm

• Weekend routes are paid $1/hour shift differential

• Drive a company-owned vehicle, transporting lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x‑rays, hospital supplies, interoffice mail and related materials.
• Use a hand‑held scanning device to track items accurately.
• Strictly observe operating policies, procedures and service schedules.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public.
• Load and unload the company vehicle with appropriate equipment.
• Demonstrate safe and courteous driving behavior.
• Conduct pre/post‑trip vehicle inspections and maintain a clean, neat vehicle.
• Perform route duties as assigned, with flexibility for changes.
• Demonstrate teamwork, cooperation and adaptability with teammates and clients.
• Build and nurture a collaborative Med Speed team culture.

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Must be 19 years of age with an active driver’s license for 3 years.
• Demonstrated dependability and reliability.
• Familiarity working with and adapting to technology.
• Ability to follow procedures closely.
• Ability to determine efficient routing between multiple points.
• Ability to pass initial and random drug & alcohol screen.
• Drive a non‑commercial vehicle throughout the shift on various roads and in varying weather conditions.
• Must have an excellent driving history.
• Must be able to regularly lift and carry items up to 50 lbs.
• Must be comfortable walking long distances and standing for prolonged periods.
