PositionFull‑Time Warehouse Supervisor, Richmond, BC.
Employment Details- Full‑time, permanent.
- Schedule:
Monday to Friday. Must be able to work between the hours of 6am-5pm. - Salary: $60, per year, plus performance bonus.
- Ensures operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming receipts and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of products, and keeping warehouse inventory current.
- Inspects the physical condition of the warehouse and equipment, and communicates the need for repairs and requisitions for replacement of equipment.
- Collaborates with other distribution centers and business leaders to ensure coordination of all business activities.
- Participates in employee safety and plant protection activities.
- Provides leadership, ensures adherence to company practices and procedures, and applies corrective action when needed.
- Interviews, trains, and retains staff; conducts performance monitoring of staff, initiates follow‑through with disciplinary action when appropriate; mentors, motivates, and develops staff and serves as a role model and resource to them.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications
- At least 3 years of warehouse experience and 1 year of leadership experience.
- Forklift certification is an asset.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong motivation toward company, team, and individual results.
- Ability to work effectively with others and build and maintain appropriate interpersonal relationships.
- Good time‑management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure, challenging environment.
