Product Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead product development from concept through production release.
• Translate customer and business requirements into manufacturable designs.
• Create and maintain drawings, BOMs, specifications, and engineering change documentation.
• Apply Design for Manufacturability (DFM/DFA) principles to reduce cost, improve quality, and support efficient production.
• Partner closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations during development and launch.
• Support prototyping, testing, validation, and root cause analysis.
• Drive continuous improvement for existing products (cost, quality, performance).
• Support production issues and technical problem-solving as needed.
• Participate in cross-functional project teams and technical reviews.
• Experience with FMEA, validation testing, or root cause analysis.
• Familiarity with PLM and ERP systems.
• Experience supporting production launches or customer technical issues.

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Five (5) + years of product development or design engineering experience.
• Manufacturing experience is highly preferred (hands‑on exposure to production processes).
• Proficiency in CAD software (Solid Works, Creo, AutoCAD, or similar).
• Working knowledge of GD&T and engineering drawing standards.
• Experience with machining, fabrication, forming, molding, or similar processes.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
