Controls Engineer (PLC / Automation / Allen-Bradley / Siemens)
Multiple Locations: OH | IN | MI | WI | IL | IA | NC | SC | TN | TX

If you have experience with PLC programming, troubleshooting, and industrial automation systems

- Program, troubleshoot, and optimize PLC systems (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.)
- Support and enhance HMI / SCADA systems
- Lead or support automation and controls projects
- Diagnose and resolve equipment and system issues to minimize downtime
- Work cross-functionally with maintenance, engineering, and operations teams
- Support continuous improvement and plant modernization initiatives
- Participate in startup, commissioning, and system upgrades
- 3+ years of experience in controls engineering or industrial automation
- Strong experience with:
- PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens preferred)
- HMI / SCADA systems
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical and control systems
- Strong understanding of industrial processes and equipment
- Experience with:
- Robotics / automated systems
- VFDs, drives, and motion control
- Continuous or discrete manufacturing environments
- Exposure to:
- Food & beverage, chemicals, metals, packaging, or building materials
- Willingness to relocate for the right opportunity (many roles offer support)
- $90,000 – $140,000 base salary
- Higher for senior-level engineers and specialized automation expertise
