We are a growing CPA and advisory firm with offices across the midwest, assisting businesses and individuals on tax and financial goals.

Senior Tax Accountant

Permanent, full‑time position. Salary: $100,000 – $110,000 per year.

Responsibilities

Prepare and review complex tax returns (individual, corporate, partnership, multi‑state, etc.) ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal and state tax laws.

Provide tax planning services and offer strategic financial advice to clients.

Research and interpret tax laws and regulations to ensure optimal tax benefits for clients.

Collaborate with team members to manage, develop, and maintain client relationships.

Identify and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and increase client profitability.

Assist in IRS and state tax audits.

Keep up‑to‑date with industry trends, changes in tax laws, and new tax planning strategies.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA required.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax.

Proficient in tax software and technology platforms.

Strong knowledge of federal and state tax codes, regulations, and case law.

Demonstrated ability to conduct tax planning and review tax returns.

Exceptional analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax issues in a clear and concise manner.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines.

High ethical standards and professionalism, with a commitment to client confidentiality.
