Description

The Senior Loan Quality Control, Ag Lending position will work side‑by‑side with the Agricultural Loan Officers to assist with quality control, organization, filing, and any other tasks that are necessary. The Senior Loan Quality Control, Ag Lending will also help with other aspects of the bank as needed.

Expected Outcomes: A successful Senior Loan Quality Control, Ag Lending will make sure all closed loans have been reviewed, files are checked for completeness, and all required documentation is accurate.

Responsibilities
  • Check for compliance with all established regulations and guidelines pertaining to documents required for due diligence per credit approval.
  • Review all completed loan documents to ensure all were signed by the customer.
  • Work within regulatory guidelines and bank policies that are applicable to this position’s area of support.
  • Respond to any defects found on any loan review in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality and security while handling company information; verbal and/or written documentation.
  • Collect documentation for various audits conducted throughout the year and act as a liaison between the auditor and Ag. Loan personnel when needed.
  • Monitor insurance expiration dates and obtain renewal information from customers when needed.
  • Focus on the Ag community and project a positive image for the bank with current and prospective customer base. Assist with customer requests in the absence of a loan officer and ensure a level of service that meets or exceeds expectations.
  • Assist in answering the telephone and perform general teller responsibilities as needed.
  • Perform other duties within the bank as deemed necessary by agricultural loan officers to enhance efficiency and balance workloads.
  • Facilitate and assist in any other areas of the bank deemed necessary by management to assure operational soundness and project a positive perception of the bank by its present or prospective customer base.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor’s degree desired but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail required.
  • Self‑starter able to work independently and in a team setting.
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook required.
  • Agricultural industry knowledge desired.
  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail, team‑first attitude, strong desire to achieve long‑term quality results, and exhibits leadership skills among peers.
  • Demonstrates exceptional knowledge and proficiency of expected outcomes.
