JOB DESCRIPTIONWe're looking for an experienced, dedicated Medical Assistant that is compassionate and has the desire to work with patients. The MA would be responsible for taking vitals, interviewing patients to get signs, symptoms and entering information into our electronic medical records system. They will schedule any testing or doctor orders and work with two other medical assistants, covering each other when needed.
Patient care includes prepping patients, obtaining vitals, chief complaint, getting patient ready for doctors examination, calling in Rx, obtaining prior authorizations on testing and/or Rx. Computer skills a must. Knowledge of electronic health records helpful.
