Supply Chain Lead

Responsible for the complete cycle of material flow, from the purchase and control of raw materials, to the planning, scheduling and control of the finished product.

• Plan and release production orders to meet customer demand and forecast requirements.
• Maintain inventory accuracy, including obsolete management, rework, and aged inventory.
• Monitor demand forecasts and track material availability and allocation.
• Plan and maintain min/max inventory levels to ensure service requirements are met.
• Analyze inventory performance to improve inventory turns, reduce waste, and optimize customer service.
• Schedule work orders and communicate delivery commitments across the organization.
• Coordinate supply chain activities with sales, marketing, finance, production, and quality control teams.
• Assist with tactical purchasing, material requirements planning (MRP), inventory control, warehousing, and receiving functions.
• Communicate with sales regarding aging inventory and other inventory-related issues.
• Review excess, obsolete, and slow-moving inventory monthly and recommend disposition actions.
• Collaborate with management to achieve company goals, execute strategies, and improve profitability.
• Manage 3rd party vendor subcontract process.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Supply Chain Manager.

• At least five years progressive experience in management of materials, preferably in graphics, lamination and/or plastic industry.
• Must have a high level of organizational skills with an ability to prioritize and multi-task.
• Must possess good problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interact in a professional manner with employees and vendors.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Must be dedicated to continuous improvement.
• Willingness to work as team member or independently.
