We're looking for an Industrial Painter
, who with a little help in getting acclimated to our systems, can hit the ground running. If you're a team player, with skills and experience that align with the functions below, we would like to hear from you.

• Preparesmetal surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, grinding, scraping, or otherwise removing dirt, grease, rust, weld spatter, and other surface imperfections.
• Masksand protectssurfaces, components, identification plates, machined surfaces, and other areas that should not be painted.
• Mixespaints, primers, thinners, hardeners, and other coating materials according to manufacturer instructions and job specifications.
• Appliesprimers, paints, and other industrial coatings using spray equipment and other appropriate applicationmethods.
• Inspectssurfaces before, during, and after painting toidentifydefects or areas requiringadditionalpreparation or touch-up.
• Performstouch-up and rework as necessary to meet quality requirements.
• Readsand followsjob documentation, drawings, specifications, paint requirements, and other work instructions.
• Properly handles, labels, stores, and disposes of paints, solvents, chemicals, and related materials.
• Cleansandmaintainsspray guns, paint equipment, booths, work areas, and related tools.
• Maintains an organized inventory of paints, coatings, supplies, and consumable materials andcommunicatesreplenishment needs.
• Safely movesor position parts and equipment using appropriatematerial-handling equipment.
• Coordinates with other departments to support production schedules and job priorities.
• Identifies and communicatesquality concerns, equipment issues, or other conditions that could affect production.
• Assistswith other areas of manufacturing when there is capacity in the paint workload.
• Performs all job duties in a safe manner ensuring compliance with established safety procedures, PPE requirements, good housekeeping, and safety incident reporting requirements,including respiratory protection,ventilation and hazardous materials.

• Associate degree or technical degree or certification in a field where painting and surface preparation is encompassed, or equivalent level of on-the-job training and experience
