Assembler, Manufacturing ​/ Production

Quanex is looking for Assembler-1st Shift to join our team in Richmond, Indiana
. The primary function of the Assembler is to work cooperatively with team members to cut and assemble door thresholds to changing specifications. The schedule is 5:00 am - 3:30 pm Monday
- Thursday.

• May install base, rail, nosing and other parts to sub assembled or fully assembled thresholds and astragals.
• Package and label product to required customer specifications.
• Make simple machine adjustments and changeovers,
• Maintain equipment and work area in neat, orderly condition in accordance with standard work and 5S criteria.
• Will perform and document all quality checks as required

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to stand throughout the full shift.
• Ability to use hand tools including tape measure air drill, pneumatics fixed straight-cut saw.
• Must have flexibility to work occasional overtime.
