Quality Technician – Manufacturing Environment (Richmond, IN)

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Technician to support product consistency, process compliance, and overall quality performance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role plays a key part in ensuring materials and finished products meet internal standards and customer requirements.

Location:

Richmond, IN 47374 Shift Options
  • 1st Shift: 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM (overtime as needed)
  • 3rd Shift: 10:30 PM – 6:30 AM (Sunday–Thursday, overtime as needed)
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform inspections on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods
  • Conduct quality checks using measurement tools and standard procedures
  • Document results and maintain accurate quality records
  • Identify defects or non-conformances and elevate as needed
  • Support corrective action and root cause analysis efforts
  • Verify packaging, labeling, and product specifications
  • Assist with audits, inspections, and process compliance activities
  • Follow GMP, ISO, HACCP, and internal quality standards
  • Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality concerns
  • Support process checks, audits, and equipment verification activities
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Basic understanding of quality processes in a manufacturing setting
  • Ability to follow detailed procedures and maintain accurate documentation
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with checklist-based inspections or auditing processes
Preferred Experience
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma or Quality 101 concepts
  • Experience with root cause analysis or continuous improvement methods
  • Background in printing, packaging, or manufacturing environments preferred
  • Prior experience in quality control or inspection roles
