Industrial Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Location Richmond, INSchedule2nd & 3rd shift opportunities

Compensation $28.00–$45.00 per hour, commensurate with experienceA Day in the Life You arrive on shift, review the maintenance queue, and prioritize a mix of PMs and urgent work orders. A conveyor needs a bearing swap, a motor is drawing high amperage, and a pneumatic valve is sticking. You isolate energy sources using LOTO, trace schematics to pinpoint faults, and return lines to service quickly.

Between calls, you complete predictive checks, document findings, and coordinate upcoming upgrades with production and engineering. Safety, precision, and uptime guide every move.

What You’ll Tackle Diagnose and repair industrial machinery to keep production running smoothly.

Execute preventive and predictive maintenance tasks to prevent unplanned downtime.

Identify faults across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Install, replace, and align motors, conveyors, gearboxes, pumps, bearings, and related components.

Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and OEM technical manuals.

Support equipment installs, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Perform welding and light fabrication when repairs require it.

Work safely at all times, following company procedures and standards.

Complete accurate work records for all maintenance and repairs performed.

What You Bring Hands-on industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.

Proven electrical and mechanical troubleshooting strength.

Background with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, motors, and other plant equipment.

Ability to read and apply electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.

Welding and fabrication capabilities; PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus.

Independent self-starter who collaborates well with a team.
