Transportation Driver
In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our community by safely transporting residents to and from their requested destinations. Your efforts will directly contribute to improving their well‑being and quality of life.

- Navigate and travel throughout Wayne, Fayette, and Union Counties to ensure timely and efficient transportation
- Ensure the safe and reliable pickup and delivery of individuals to their designated locations
- Complete thorough pre‑ and post‑trip reports for every journey, documenting relevant details accurately
- Prioritize duties in a manner consistent with organizational objectives and growth
- Adhere to all policies and procedures as defined in the Employee Handbook and the Damar Operational Policies and Procedures Manual
- Complete and update mandatory training and other licensure related items in a timely manner
- Maintain documentation that is accurate and legible
- Complete incident reports, including reporting any suspected exploitation, abuse, or neglect of a client
- Respect the culture, diversity and rights of all clients, their families and the community
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 6 months of previous transportation experience required
- Minimum age of 18 per licensure requirements
- Valid Indiana driver’s license and driving record that meets eligibility requirements of Damar’s insurance carrier (for all positions requiring driving)
- Be clear of any felony convictions, substantiated charges of neglect or other disqualifying criminal convictions
- Successfully complete a pre‑employment physical
- Favorably meet and maintain Damar’s background screening
