Essential Functions- Pushes, pulls, and steers rolling carts throughout the warehouse for order selection and loading.
- Operates a manual pallet jack by pulling, leading, and steering palletized product throughout the warehouse and into trucks.
- Operates an electric “walkie” pallet jack by pulling, leading, and steering palletized product throughout the warehouse and into trucks.
- Operates an electric “riding” pallet jack by pushing, pulling, leading, and steering palletized product throughout the warehouse and while loading trucks; requires twisting to look in the direction of travel on a continual basis, and continually mounting and dismounting equipment to pick product onto pallets.
- Picks product onto a pallet requiring reaching, pulling, twisting, bending, crouching, and lifting.
- Operates a lift truck all shift (certified order selector).
- Performs routine inspections on vehicles and auxiliary equipment, such as cleaning or recharging batteries, and refers defects or repairs to supervisor or maintenance.
- Moves controls to drive powered lift trucks and transport materials between loading, unloading, processing, and storage areas.
- Moves levers and controls that operate lifting devices, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, pallet wrappers, load inverters, and elevating platforms, to load, unload, transport, and stack material.
- Applies stretch‑wrap under, over, or around unitized skids and boxes, securing material or products for transport to designated areas.
- Loads or unloads materials onto or off pallets, skids, platforms, or lifting devices.
- Reliable attendance at scheduled shifts.
- Performs all duties in conformance with appropriate safety and security standards.
- Performs all other duties as assigned or needed.
- Attendance – Ability to work the required schedule, arrive on time, and work voluntary or mandatory overtime during busy seasons.
- Communication – Ability to effectively communicate (in writing and verbally) in a courteous and professional manner with others; understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Mathematics – Ability to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Language – Ability to identify and compare letters and numbers, read and interpret documents such as receipts, invoices, operating instructions, and procedure manuals; read and write simple sentences.
- Diversity Orientation – Ability to work effectively with people regardless of age, gender, race, ethnicity, religion, or job type.
- Relationship Building – Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers, co‑workers, and management.

- Paperwork Completion – Ability to complete necessary paperwork neatly and accurately according to established guidelines; properly count, document, or scan units as needed.
- Paperwork Verification – Ability to verify paperwork to ensure the customer receives the correct product and to inspect the condition of product received and shipped to ensure quality.
- Organized – Ability to follow a systematic method of performing a task; ability to direct and delegate tasks.

- Accuracy – Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.

- Education:
High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) preferred. - Experience:
One (1) to two (2) years of related experience in a warehouse environment. - Computer
Skills:
Basic scanner technology.
