We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. This role will be responsible for performing senior-level accounting duties across tax, audit, and bookkeeping engagements while working directly with clients and firm leadership. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically proficient, client-focused, and capable of managing multiple engagements and deadlines simultaneously.
Responsibilities Tax Services- Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, and fiduciary tax returns
- Conduct tax research and assist with tax planning strategies
- Communicate with clients regarding tax matters and information requests
- Assist with IRS and state tax notice responses
- Perform audit, review, and compilation procedures
- Prepare audit work papers and financial statements
- Assist with risk assessments and internal control evaluations
- Work directly with clients during fieldwork and engagement completion
- Maintain and review client general ledgers
- Prepare monthly and year-end financial statements
- Perform reconciliations and adjusting journal entries
- Assist clients with Quick Books and accounting system support
- Manage multiple client engagements and deadlines
- Supervise and mentor junior staff as needed
- Maintain strong client relationships through professional communication
- Ensure compliance with firm standards and professional regulations
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
- CPA license preferred or actively pursuing CPA
- Minimum of 3 years of public accounting experience
- Experience in tax preparation, audit engagements, and bookkeeping/accounting services
- Proficiency in Quick Books and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with tax and audit software preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
