Position: Part-Time Accountant
Location:Richmond, KY
Schedule: 15-20 hours per week (flexible)

Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Accountant to support our accounting and finance operations. This role will assist with month-end close, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and general ledger activities while ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

• Prepare and post journal entries
• Reconcile bank accounts and balance sheet accounts
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Maintain general ledger accuracy and integrity
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed
• Prepare financial reports and schedules
• Research and resolve accounting discrepancies
• Assist with audits and special projects
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company procedures

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• 2+ years of accounting experience
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and reconciliations
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

• Experience with month-end close
• Knowledge of GAAP principles
• ERP system experience a plus
