As an accounting financial reporting specialist on the GAAP Financial Reporting team, you will serve as a subject matter expert for complex accounting and financial reporting matters, with a focus on corporate accounting areas such as shareholders' equity, equity-based compensation, and other technical accounting topics. In this role, you will be responsible for managing critical financial reporting processes, including the company's dividends, and preparing support for SEC filings.
This is a hybrid role working out of our headquarters in Mayfield Village, Ohio.
Must-have Qualifications- Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or related field of study (e.g. Finance) and a minimum of 4 years related accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a specialized area (e.g., reinsurance, investments), financial reporting, or public accounting experience.
- Experienced accountant with expertise in equity and equity-based compensation accounting.
- Strong background in GAAP accounting principles and SEC reporting requirements, including SEC disclosures related to executive compensation and security ownership.
- Excellent communication (verbal, written, and listening) and organizational skills (planning, time management, and priority management).
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to identify and communicate accounting and financial reporting issues to management in a timely and concise manner.
- $74,000 - $119,500/year depending on position level.
- Gainshare annual cash incentive program up to 30% of your eligible earnings, based on company performance.
