Job Summary /Basic FunctionsA University Accounting Specialist is responsible for timely and accurate analysis, reconciliation updating, and reporting of university information. This information is provided to both internal and external entities. The incumbent also provides technical direction, consultation and customer service to a varietyof constituents. Incumbent will work in the Accounting Office.
Minimum QualificationsEducation: - A Bachelor's degree is required. Adegree in Accounting or a related field is preferred.
Experience: - No related work experience is required. Prefer someone who has either worked in some capacity with a financial office (i.e. student worker or who has financialeducation).
Job Duties:- 80% - Maintains Accounting Records/Reports for the University.
- (Essential) - 15% - Supports the office functions by completing all other duties and special projects as assigned.
- (Essential) - 5% - Other Duties as assigned.
