Be the first friendly face our residents and families meet.Aventura at Walton Hills is seeking a compassionate, organized, and customer‑focused Admissions Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the admissions process, building relationships with referral sources, and ensuring a smooth transition for new residents and their families.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all aspects of the admissions process from referral through admission.

  • Respond promptly to referral inquiries and communicate with hospitals, physicians, case managers, and families.

  • Verify insurance benefits and obtain required authorizations.

  • Conduct facility tours for prospective residents and their families.

  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure timely and seamless admissions.

  • Maintain accurate admission records and documentation.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with referral sources and community partners.

  • Assist with census development and occupancy goals.

  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility admission regulations.

Qualifications
  • Previous admissions, marketing, or healthcare experience in a skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long‑term care setting preferred.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, and insurance verification processes preferred.

  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems is a plus.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with clinical teams, referral sources, residents, and families.

  • Professional, compassionate, and detail‑oriented.
