Duties
* Manages the end-to-end life cycle of complex projects within the Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) innovation Hub.
* Establishes work procedures to meet desired objectives for program.
* Ensures compliance with DoD regulations, federal statutes and standards.
* Coordinate with senior leadership for Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) certification, development, and testing to meet the needs of the Army.
* Maintains knowledge of latest modernization advances in technologies involved in Unmanned Aerial Systems through multiple resources and contacts.
* Develops standard operating procedures concerning Unmanned Aerial Systems testing and certification operations. Requirements Conditions of employment
* This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
* Occasional TDY travel may be required.
* This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed. Qualifications Who May Apply:

One year of specialized experience which includes:
Ensuring Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) policies are met;
Recommending improvements for future projects by reviewing technical data; and Creating project plans for Unmanned Aerial System. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12) Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.

Time in Grade Requirement:
Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12). Education This job does not have an education qualification requirement. Additional information
