We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Senior Financial Analyst to join our dynamic Neurosurgery team  Senior Financial Analyst will monitor, analyze and report on financial data.

Essential Functions
  • Monitor and interpret financial data in the development of cost analysis and reports.
  • Prepare financial/statistical analysis reports.
  • Perform budget analysis to ensure adherence to policies and assist in the development of budgetary forecasts.
  • Prepare and assist in budget-related analysis, estimates and financial reports.
  • Conduct financial feasibility studies on new programs by using financial modeling systems and statistical programs.
  • Understand university financial policies and be able to apply those policies to financial transactions, and/or provide guidance to those who seek to apply those policies.
  • Prepare, review, and submit monthly compensation reports and related payroll documentation, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with principal investigators, research staff, and departmental leadership to create budget projections and financial plans for grant submissions and clinical trial proposals.

Required Education
  • Bachelor’s Degree must be in Accounting, Business, Finance, Database Administration, or related field.
Required Experience
  • Three (3) years of experience in accounting.
