QS Construction Lead

QS Construction Lead - Ohio - 12 months Be part of a next-generation pharmaceutical project that’s transforming how medicines are made. We’re supporting a major new-build facility in Ohio, a multi-billion-dollar investment designed to push the boundaries of science and engineering. We’re looking for a QS Construction Lead to support this project and help deliver this world-class program.

• Measure and verify quantities of completed construction works on site.
• Review and validate contractor applications for payment, ensuring alignment with progress achieved and contractual terms.
• Maintain accurate records of installed quantities and earned value progress.
• Support evaluation and pricing of change orders, variations, and claims.
• Assist in preparation and maintenance of construction cost reports and commitment logs.
• Monitor subcontractor performance from a commercial and quantity perspective.

• Minimum of 8–10 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Commercial/Cost Lead on large-scale industrial, commercial, or pharmaceutical construction projects.
• Demonstrated experience in contract administration, progress measurement, payment certification, and change quantification.
• Strong working knowledge of construction contract forms (e.g., lump sum, unit rate, cost-reimbursable) and commercial administration practices.
• Experience validating contractor payment applications and maintaining earned value and cost reporting records.
• Familiarity with U.S. construction standards and pharmaceutical/GMP regulatory expectations preferred.
