Responsibilities- Interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to determine concrete finishing requirements.
- Prepare and set formwork using carpentry skills and construction plans to create molds for pouring concrete.
- Operate concrete mixers, pumps, power tools, hand tools, and concrete cutting equipment safely and efficiently.
- Pour, spread, level, and smooth concrete surfaces with precision using trowels, floats, and other finishing tools.
- Install rebar reinforcement according to specifications to ensure structural integrity.
- Apply finishing techniques such as smoothing, texturing, caulking, stucco application, and plastering for aesthetic appeal.
- Follow all safety protocols related to heavy lifting, working with rebar and formwork construction, concrete pumping, and workplace safety regulations.
- Conduct quality checks on finished surfaces to ensure compliance with blueprint specifications and project standards.
- Collaborate with team members on construction site activities including renovation projects and heavy lifting tasks.
- Maintain a clean work environment by properly handling tools and disposing of debris in accordance with safety guidelines.
- Proven experience working on construction projects involving concrete finishing, formwork construction, or related trades.
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes and interpreting detailed blueprints or technical drawings.
- Familiarity with heavy machinery such as concrete mixers, pumps, power tools, and rebar installation techniques.
- Strong understanding of construction workplace safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols at all times.
- Hands-on experience with concrete pouring, cutting, caulking, stucco application, plastering or renovation work is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting while maintaining attention to detail under demanding conditions.
- Prior carpentry or masonry experience is a plus for understanding formwork and structural components.
