Position Overview
William Paterson University invites applications for the position of Adjunct Faculty within the Cotsakos College of Business, Department of Economics, Finance and Global Business.
Courses- Macroeconomics Principles
- Microeconomics Principles
- Business Statistics I
- Business Statistics II
- Corporate Finance
- Financial Well Being
- Develop relevant syllabi and deploy course content, objectives, and student assessment methods for up to six (6) credits per semester.
- Provide consistent and effective support and guidance to students through role modeling and mentoring.
- Teach courses in person and/or online depending on course schedules and department needs.
- MBA or Master’s in an applied business discipline.
- Five or more years’ experience in a managerial capacity.
- Full‑time, part‑time employment, or active professional practice.
- Ability to teach online.
- Professional certification and/or continuing professional education relevant to the business domain.
- Professional activity within the discipline such as leadership or managerial roles in business, non‑profit, government, or professional organizations.
- Experience teaching both online and in person.
- MBA or Master’s in an applied business discipline.
- Ten or more years of business experience in a managerial capacity.
- Full‑time, part‑time employment, or active professional practice.
- Ability to teach online.
- Professional certification and/or continuing professional education relevant to the business domain.
- Fifteen or more years of managerial experience.
- Published peer or non‑peer reviewed articles, conference papers, blogs, or books.
- Board membership in a business enterprise, non‑profit, or professional association.
- Experience teaching both online and in person.
- Ability to translate business experience into pedagogical approaches that enhance curriculum relevance.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
- Commitment to teaching excellence, assessment strategies, and positive outcomes.
- Patience and resourcefulness in managing student challenges.
- Ability to develop and sustain robust working relationships in a diverse environment.
- Ability to set and work toward common goals in a collaborative environment.
New employees: $2,100 per credit. Employees who have worked 13 or more semesters at WP: $2,175 per credit.
