Job Summary /Basic FunctionsThe College of Business at Eastern Kentucky University, an AACSBInternational accredited school, invites applications for an Visiting Assistant Professor of Finance and Economics beginning
August 2026. Applicants should hold a doctoral degree in Finance,Economics, are a closely related field (Ph.D. or D.B.A.) (verifiedby official transcripts) from an AACSB International accredited institution. The position begins August 2026.
The position serves the Finance and Economics courses in theundergraduate business core and potentially in the MBA program. Itrequires excellence in and a commitment to teaching. In addition toface-to-face instruction, some online teaching will be helpful. The successful candidate will maintain a workload consistent with theneeds and priorities of the college and the institution. Coursesmay include, but are not limited to, banking, financial planning,financial literacy, financial technology, macroeconomics,microeconomics, personal finance, and other related fields.
The successful candidate will teach in-person courses, although somesemesters may include online classes.

The successful candidate will demonstrate knowledge of artificial intelligence pertinent to the discipline and/or a willingness to pursue professional development to acquiresuch expertise.
