The following position is open for the school year:
Grade 6 Science Teacher at Triway Middle School, Triway Local Schools
DESCRIPTION:
Provide science instruction to 6th-grade students, including students with disabilities in an inclusion setting.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must hold a current Ohio Department of Education license in Middle Childhood Education (4-9) or Elementary Education (1-8)
- Knowledge of the RTI process
- Knowledge of/ability to apply principles and methods of developing an instructional and behavioral management system
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of the subject matter and innovative pedagogy
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in written form
- Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse population of students, families, and staff
- Experience teaching middle school science preferred
SALARY:
Based upon the district salary schedule
WORK YEAR:
August 10, 2026 - May 28, 2027
