As a Quality Inspector at Microwave Products Group – Pole/Zero Corporation in West Chester, OH, you will be responsible for completing the in process and final inspection of electronic & electro‑mechanical assemblies.

• Inspect electronic assemblies to ensure compliance with engineering documents, work instructions, customer specifications and industry standards.
• Verify conformance and write nonconformance reports when discrepancies are found.
• Verify that rework/repair has been completed in accordance with specified requirements.
• Report inspections and move product in the proper system.
• Stamp/sign off on inspection steps upon completion, approving and releasing the product for shipment.
• Interface with production and engineering on production and product problems.
• Assist production by providing explanations and/or instructions on quality issues and production issues.
• Work closely with quality engineering and manufacturing engineering to improve the process and design for manufacturability.
• Spot audit in the production area to ensure that the proper instructions are being followed and to provide feedback to management to improve the process/system.
• Work closely with engineering on engineering builds and prototypes to point out potential production, quality and reliability problems.
• Assist management with implementing process controls, improvement activities, writing work instruction and inspection instructions.

• Basic understanding of IPC-A-610.
• Proficient ability to utilize a PC and the Microsoft Office Suite software package.
• Ability to read prints.
• Able to manage time and priorities effectively.
• Good problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to demonstrate effective written and spoken communication skills.
• ISO
  9001 and AS9100 training, preferred.
• Must be able to use basic hand tools/gauges.
• Must be able to use microscope.
