Position Title: Product Engineer
Location: Frazeysburg, OH
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Position SummaryThe Product Engineer will support the development, refinement, testing, and manufacturing of fiber‑reinforced thermoplastic and thermoset products. This position will work closely with production, customers, suppliers, and leadership to help create innovative products that are manufacturable, cost‑effective, and performance‑driven. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys a combination of product design, manufacturing support, troubleshooting, and project management responsibilities.
Primary Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following:
- Assist in the design, development, and launch of new products from concept through production
- Create and maintain engineering drawings, specifications, and document control systems
- Develop testing procedures and validate product performance through analysis and testing
- Identify and resolve product design and manufacturability challenges
- Support prototyping, product improvements, and failure analysis initiatives
- Collaborate with production teams to communicate engineering changes and support manufacturing processes
- Work directly with customers, vendors, and contractors on project‑related activities
- Generate requests for proposals (RFPs), solicit quotes, and evaluate suppliers/materials
- Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives
- Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (required)
- CAD/solid modeling experience preferred (Solid Works strongly preferred)
- Mechanical design and/or manufacturing engineering experience
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles
- Knowledge of ISO, IATF, or other quality systems
- Familiarity with OSHA standards
- Experience with composites, thermoplastics, or polymer‑based manufacturing processes preferred
- Knowledge of destructive and non‑destructive testing methods is a plus
- Self‑motivated and hands‑on problem solver
- Creative and innovative mindset
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment
- Comfortable balancing engineering, manufacturing, and project responsibilities
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to push, pull, lift, and/or carry up to 25 lbs.
