Physical Requirements:
- Intermittently sitting at a computer workstation; performing tasks with repetitive motions (e.g., typing).
- Standing or walking with objects weighing up to 10 pounds; lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds; occasionally standing or walking with objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Risk of back injury from moving, lifting or positioning patients, equipment, or materials.
- Risk of injuries from use of equipment on the job.
- Exposure to blood‑borne or airborne pathogens, hazardous chemicals and fumes including waste, cuts/punctures, burns, and combative/violent people.
Shift:
This is a full‑time position that primarily works a schedule of 7 days on/7 days off or 8 days on/6 days off, generally from 10:30 am–9 pm weekdays and 7:30 am–6 pm weekends in a rotation. Weekends and holidays are part of the rotation. Shift, days of week, and location subject to change based on the needs and growth of the department.
Job SummaryThe Ambulatory Retail Pharmacist compounds and dispenses medications and pharmaceutical supplies upon receiving written orders from physicians, and reviews and interprets prescriptions and drug profiles to ensure appropriate drug therapy has been prescribed and drug interactions are monitored.
