Job SummaryThe Senior Information Security Analyst / Cybersecurity Liaison provides comprehensive technical support to government clients, ensuring the security, efficiency, and compliance of IT systems. This role is responsible for maintaining computer systems, printers, VoIP telephones, user accounts, and video telecommunication systems. Additional responsibilities include serving as an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) and Cybersecurity Liaison, managing IT asset inventory, and handling documentation submissions such as appointment letters and access requests.
A strong customer service mindset, technical expertise, and experience in government inventory management and classified systems are essential for success in this role.
- Provide first-level end-user technical support, ensuring timely issue resolution.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot various computer hardware and software components.
- Maintain and support printers, VoIP telephones, and video telecommunication systems (VTC).
- Establish and maintain secure network connectivity.
- Manage IT asset inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and documentation.
- Act as an ISSO and Cybersecurity Liaison, ensuring compliance with security policies.
- Prepare and submit required documentation, including appointment letters and access requests.
- Conduct user training to enhance security awareness and best practices.
- Maintain excellent customer relations and uphold compliance with established security procedures.
- Frequent use of computers, printers, and various software applications.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, ticketing systems, and IT asset management software.
- Experience managing secure network infrastructures in alignment with TEMPEST standards.
- Superior attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent listening and communication abilities.
- Technical proficiency in computer hardware, software, and networking.
- Ability to multi‑task, prioritize, and work independently in a secure environment.
- Operates primarily in an office setting.
- Routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers.
- May require lifting computer equipment, using ladders, walking large office buildings, and handling IT-related shipments.
- Full‑time, exempt position.
- Standard work hours:
Monday through Friday, regular business hours. - Additional hours may be required to ensure program performance.
- Primarily local travel for user support.
- Manage and sustain secure network infrastructures per TEMPEST standards.
- Perform comprehensive risk assessments and vulnerability testing to ensure compliance with security protocols.
- Develop and facilitate TEMPEST security training programs to educate personnel on secure handling of classified information.
- Oversee the documentation and reporting of TEMPEST compliance for audits and regulatory inspections.
