Business Systems Manager

This leader will serve as the bridge between operations, accounting, logistics, sales, and technology. The primary mission of the role is to maximize the value of our technology investments, improve data integrity, eliminate manual processes, automate workflows, and provide actionable business intelligence across the organization.

Based on Experience

Ohio (on-site, not remote). Relocation assistance provided

• Lead integration efforts between ERP systems, tank monitoring platforms, dispatch software, reporting tools, and third‑party applications.
• Reduce or eliminate manual data entry and duplicate processes.
• Develop and maintain scripts, queries, automations, and system workflows.
• Collaborate with software vendors and implementation partners.

• Develop operational, financial, and management reporting tools.
• Create dashboards and KPI visibility using Power BI or similar platforms.
• Improve access to real‑time data and actionable insights.
• Ensure consistency and accuracy of data across systems.

• Map current‑state business processes and identify inefficiencies.
• Recommend and implement best‑practice workflows.
• Improve data integrity, controls, and system utilization.
• Support cross‑functional process improvement initiatives.

• Write and maintain SQL queries and reports.
• Support data analysis related to operations, costing, inventory, logistics, sales, and profitability.
• Partner with leadership to develop metrics and reporting that drive better decision making.

• 5+ years of experience supporting ERP systems, business systems, or enterprise applications.
• Strong SQL and database experience.
• Experience developing reports, dashboards, and business intelligence tools.
• Demonstrated success improving business processes through technology.
• Strong project management and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Experience with PDI Enterprise or similar ERP platforms.
