Responsibilities

  • Place product in designated rows in the warehouse neatly and evenly.
  • Supply the production area with needed raw materials.
  • Assist in moving product into the print room when needed.
  • Operate stretch wrap/shrink wrap machines.
  • Ensure labeling and packaging are correct prior to moving product into the warehouse.
  • Communicate with warehouse and production supervisors daily.
  • Maintain a safety‑mindful work environment; understand forklift/yard dog operation and safe driving practices.
  • Perform daily general maintenance on forklifts, checking oil levels, backup beeper, tires, and following safety procedures for battery chargers and chocking wheels.
  • Understand both finished products and raw materials, read and interpret incoming and outgoing orders, and know labeling and packaging processes.
  • Load trucks to customer specifications; verify quantity, product, labeling, and packaging, and ensure correct counts and production dates are pulled to the staging area for audit.
  • Maintain general housekeeping of warehouse and dock areas; verify work area and product storage is safe; sweep and clean trucks before loading.
  • Support inventory counts, follow pick and putaway plans, and accurately maintain inventory records.
  • Use problem‑solving skills to handle situations that arise.
  • Perform various other duties as assigned.
