At Worthington Enterprises in Jefferson, you’ll help manufacture cylinders that power heating systems, enable refrigerant recovery, and support fire suppression. We’re growing our 2nd (3pm–11pm, Monday–Friday) and 3rd (11pm–7am, Sunday–Thursday) shift teams and looking for dependable makers who care about quality and safety.
A Day (or Night) on the LineClock In, Gear Up, And Start Where Your Team Needs You Most. One Hour You May Be Assembling Components Or Moving Materials;
The Next, You’re Verifying Specifications, Loading The Press Room, Or Supporting The Paint Line. Throughout The Shift, You’ll
- Assemble parts, conduct basic testing, and keep materials flowing to each workstation.
- Operate or support welding, press room, and paint line processes.
- Follow detailed work instructions and standard operating procedures to produce safe, high‑quality parts.
- Spot defects, correct issues, and accurately count, label, and handle small parts.
- Champion safety by following all policies, procedures, and protective measures.
- Comfort with physical, repetitive work and standing for extended periods.
- Strong hand–eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Basic math and computer literacy.
- Ability to read and follow detailed instructions; familiarity with part numbers, sizes, and quality checks.
- Forklift and crane licenses are a plus.
- Basic English proficiency is required to read safety instructions, understand work orders, and communicate with supervisors and coworkers.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English.

- Competitive Pay:
Minimum starting pay is $19/hour, and we pay for experience. Night shift differential is an additional $1.50/hour. - Sign-On Bonus: $1,500 for new employees, plus $1,000 after your first year.
- Overtime Pay:
Time-and-a-half over 40 hours/week; double-time over 48 hours/week. - Profit Sharing:
Quarterly profit-sharing with no cap. - Comprehensive Benefits:
